I had several extra people want to leave a comment on my blog but had difficulties doing so. I think you need a google account to do so (gmail etc) I so appreciate everyone's effort and sweet sweet sentiments. I said I would share those who commented here before I announce the winner... so here were a few more of the comments:
Cynthia Says: My
comment is: I'm not exactly sure what year it was but I've enjoyed
stamping with you for quite some time😊. Mary S. was the one that first
got me interested & when Karen K. had a party I finagled an invitation
& have been hooked ever since!! Thank you for your patience with me
& for mostly laughing at my smart alec comments!
Happy Anniversary & looking
forward to many more fun stamping classes!!
Karen K says: .think we go back at least 10 years and I
still have the first card we made...a 2step rose bud card. I fell in
love with Stampin Up and you as a demonstrator on that day and now count you as
one of my dear friends! I have a fully stocked craft room with not
enough time to play....the rest is wonderful history filled with good times and
great memories! Congrats on your 16 and here's to at least another 16!
Ruth O says: I first met Marette 5 years ago at our local library where she was
demonstrating card making with Stampin' Up product. We made the "Cherry
on Top" quilt card with the Sizzix Top Note die , I fell in love with card
making and the rest is history. Over the years, Marette has presented countless
clever and unique designs and techniques for us to hand craft paper product and
I've loved every one of them! Last year, Marette moved over 150 miles away when
her husband was transferred with his job. At first, we all had acute withdrawal
from our demonstrator and her projects. I then searched for a new
demonstrator in my area and have enjoyed their classes but they don't compare
to the wonderful beauty and uniqueness of Marette's.
Then, this spring
Marette was able to continue her classes with us because she still works for
the same company and now returns a couple of days a month for her job and
includes an evening class while here.
I love Marette for the
beauty and sunshine she has taught me to create during some of my
"quiet" days of retirement. Marette has spread her wings in her new
location with classes at the library and with her new friends and so she
continues to share and teach creativity and spreads joy and happiness wherever
she goes.
Marette, thank you, from
the heart.
Now for the winner...
