Happy Everything

Do you have a favorite card that will always stick in your mind? I have several. Recently, I discussed  this particular card with some of my stamping friends. While cleaning up my stamp room this weekend, I opened up one my boxes of older cards. Now let's just say , I have about ten *cough*  full boxes of handmade cards (sadly filed in no rhyme or reason).   So for me to happen upon this particular card that we were just fondly remembering must have been meant to be. 

Since I am trying to start posting on my blog I thought I would share this oldie but goodie. It is a small little note card -sized to tuck in a gift. There are several things that stand out on this card.

•  Two step stamping ( the technique of layering mutiple rubber images over one another to create detailed color variations) is always a wow.
•  Stamping the organdy ribbon further coordinated the card. 
• Adding the retired famous set of Itty Bitty Backgrounds always adds interest. The new gorgeous grunge stamp (130517) replaces the retired set nicely. 
• The final wow on this card is using the uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen (105021) underneath the stamped word Happy. This little detail makes the word stand out.

Last but not least, stamping the inside of the card and also the envelope finished the project in style.
