Life Without Dogs-Mojo#436

Life without Dogs? I don't think so!

Today's card features my love of animals. I love all kinds of furry creatures...even dogs. (Crush does not look amused at my saying this).

My husband and I would love to have a fawn colored Great Dane some day. While on vacation  in Arkansas years ago, we came across a a massive stuffed Great Dane in a souvenir shop. The childhood part of our hearts couldn't resist purchasing him. Thus Belle (as we named her), is one giant stuffed Great Dane who keeps watch over the entry way to our home. Many guests have been startled by her. :)

Here is the Crush meeting Belle the first time:

He seems to be saying  "Fess up! Whose idea was this??"

And my Take on it:

 I had to omit one of the circles due to the size of the dog heads. But I think it still worked out!  While fussy cutting the ribbon on the bone from a Real Red stamping of the image, I began to question my own mental stability. However, I survived.

 I gussied up the inside a little with some left over pattern paper. I really like this years DSP stacks.

And finally, I had to share another photo of Belle and one of our other kitties named Bling. This photo was taken in our previous home in Indianapolis. Bling (he has extra digits on his two front paws making him polydactyl) felt brave enough to stand watch at night with his big friend by his side. Now during times of extreme danger (ie. someone other than Dan and I in the house) he can be find hiding inside my stamp cabinet upstairs. :) Shh...he is safe there because no one knows where he is!
